Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment in Miami, FL is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead a team of cashiers and stockers. You will oversee daily operations, safety, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring the store runs smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), retail experience, and 2 years of supervisory exposure. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of related retail experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable customer service while keeping the store clean, safe, and stocked with products customers want and need.
• Manage a team of cashiers and stockers to drive efficiencies in inventory, merchandising, safety, asset protection, cashiering and money handling.
• Under guidance from the Store Manager, aid in hiring, training and performance management for Cashier and Stocking Associates.
• Minimize inventory shrinkage and protect the store against shoplifting and internal theft.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and handle opening/closing per policy.
