Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking an Operations Manager in Center Ridge, FL to drive efficient store operations and excellent customer service. You will lead a team, ensure safe and clean conditions, and manage processes from inventory to checkout.

Under guidance from the Store Manager, you’ll hire, train and develop Cashier and Stocking staff, while aiming to minimize shrinkage and protect assets. This full-time role requires leadership and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education; college/technical training preferred.
• Retail experience with supervisory duties preferred.
• Strong customer service, decision making, and problem solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers want.
• Lead a team of cashiers and stockers to drive efficiencies in inventory, merchandising, safety, asset protection, cashiering and money handling.
• Under guidance from the Store Manager, facilitate hiring, training and performance management for Cashier and Stocking Associates.
• Actively seek to minimize inventory shrinkage and protect the store against theft.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) including opening and closing the store according to policies.
