Job summary

Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee day-to-day store operations and staff under the Store Manager's direction. The role ensures excellent customer service, maintains merchandising standards, and supports efficient merchandise flow using 1-Touch principles.

The on-duty leader coordinates safety, staffing, and smooth daily operations, with focus on accountability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily store operations under Store Manager guidance.
• Oversee frontline staff, coach performance, and onboarding.
• Ensure positive customer experiences, POS and cash handling support, and store cleanliness.
• Monitor merchandise flow from donation intake to sales floor and price items accordingly.
• Enforce safety, security, cash handling, and incident reporting procedures.
• Assist with opening/closing and complete operational reports.
