Job summary

Peoples Bank is seeking an Operations Specialist to drive proactive problem solving and improve operational consistency across the Retail Business Line. The role requires collaboration with Fraud, Compliance, and regional teams, plus oversight of policy adherence.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in banking, strong communication skills, and the ability to train others. Significant travel and flexible hours are expected to support nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in related banking field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PC literacy and proficiency with MS Office.
• Strong organization, analytical and problem-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve operational issues with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Identify and mitigate operational challenges and risks across Retail Business Line.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to standardize processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of banking policies across PEBO states for trusts, POAs, guardianships, etc.
• Support and lead training to reduce escalations and ensure policy adherence.
• Communicate remediation status to regional leaders and stakeholders.
• Maintain a risk register and monitor progress of improvement initiatives.
• Support monthly/quarterly operations review meetings.
• Travel as required across the footprint.
