Job summary

Peoples Bank is seeking an Operations Support Specialist in the Retail Banking line to elevate operational consistency and reduce recurring issues. You will work with business leaders, embed process improvements, and coordinate risk-aware actions across regions.

Responsibilities include problem solving, policy adherence, and collaboration with Fraud and Compliance to strengthen protections. Travel across the footprint is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent branch banking work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in related banking field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to resolve operational exceptions and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems proactively and collaborate with partners to ensure deliverables meet policy and procedure.
• Identify operational challenges and propose solutions to drive resolution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategies that mitigate risk and monitor outcomes.
• Understand business processes, controls, and risk dynamics; educate others on changes.
• Partner with Fraud and Compliance to strengthen protections and educate internal teams.
• Maintain a risk register with high-priority threats and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate and conduct monthly/quarterly Operations Support meetings.
• Reduce escalations by enforcing clear policies and training.
