Peoples Bank is seeking a Retail Operations Support Specialist to elevate operational consistency and reduce recurring issues across the Retail Business Line. The role focuses on solutions-oriented collaboration with business leaders and embedding operational excellence in day-to-day practices.

You will collaborate with Fraud and Compliance teams, maintain risk registers, and lead monthly/quarterly operations meetings while ensuring clear policies and training.

Formación

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in related banking field.
• Strong phone skills and professional demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Retail Bank policy and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Will be responsible for problem solving, proactive decision making and collaboration with partners to ensure deliverables are met while adhering to policy and procedure.
• Identify operational challenges and propose solutions to provide resolution.
• Work cross-functionally to develop strategies to mitigate risk and monitor progress and outcomes.
• Understand business processes, control structures, and risk dynamics; coordinate education of changes.
• Partner with Fraud and Compliance teams to identify risks and strengthen protections.
• Maintain a risk register with high-priority threats and mitigation plans.
• Prepare, coordinate and conduct monthly and quarterly Universal Banker Operations Support Specialist meetings
• Reduce inbound escalations via clear policies, procedures, and training with policy owners.
• Maintain communication with regional leaders about issues, remediation, and policy enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to eliminate duplication and ensure consistency across regions.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
