Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to support front-end operations and assist in maximizing store performance in York, PA. You will work with store leadership to enhance the shopping experience for customers and donors while ensuring accurate cash handling and compliance with procedures.

The role requires flexible scheduling, strong communication and basic computer skills, with opportunities to contribute to training and store initiatives in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• POS and basic computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales through rotation, displays, signage and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, donors and staff.
• Train and develop sales associates and enforce merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely paperwork, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Enforce and communicate Goodwill policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing of the store as assigned by the manager.
• Assist in interviewing candidates for entry-level retail roles and support associate evaluations.
• Support asset protection compliance; report issues to Store Manager or Regional District Director.
• Support organizational programs and special events as required.
• Promote workplace safety and communicate progress to Store Manager.
