Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early-morning role, working with a team before opening to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Responsibilities include customer service, pricing, stocking, unloading merchandise, backroom organization, and supporting omnichannel initiatives such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and ship-from-store.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
• Execute pricing and signing across the store.
• Restock and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise and maintain the backroom.
• Support omnichannel efforts including BOPIS, ship from store, and returns.
• Implement merchandising plans and uphold standards.
• Participate in training and learning activities.
