JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to enhance the customer experience by performing essential in-store operations before opening. The role involves fast-paced movement around the store, restocking merchandise, processing shipments, and maintaining backroom standards.

You will support pricing and signing accuracy, participate in omnichannel initiatives, and execute merchandising plans to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with questions or requests.
• Execute pricing and signing to update ticket prices and signage across the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to ensure availability of sizes and styles.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prepare backroom stock.
• Maintain stockroom safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Contribute to Omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, etc.).
• Implement merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement and customer experience.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
