Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling store operations before opening. This early-morning role works with a team to complete tasks efficiently as the store prepares for the day.

You will move around the store assisting customers, price and sign merchandise, replenish stock, unload deliveries, maintain a tidy backroom, and support omnichannel initiatives such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to provide great customer service in a fast-paced store.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while navigating the store at a fast pace.
• Execute pricing and signing of merchandise accurately and Quickly.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to keep styles and sizes available.
• Receive and unload merchandise with the team and prepare backroom stock.
• Maintain backroom standards by keeping it clean, safe and organized.
• Support omnichannel operations including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Help implement merchandising strategies and maintain standards for an outstanding customer experience.
• Engage in ongoing training and absorb new information on merchandise, safety and productivity.
