JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience by handling essential store operations before opening. This early-morning role involves collaborating with a team to prep merchandise, assist customers, and support omnichannel functions.

You will learn and apply pricing, signing, restocking, receiving, and backroom standards while contributing to merchandising plans and store efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Early-morning availability is preferred.
• Able to move around the store and assist customers efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service on the sales floor.
• Execute pricing and signing across merchandise quickly and accurately.
• Restock and replenish stock to meet customer demand.
• Receive and unload merchandise in the backroom with teammates.
• Maintain backroom standards and safety.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, etc.).
• Assist with merchandising plans and floor execution.
• Participate in ongoing training and learning opportunities.
