Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the United States is seeking a Mortgage Marketing/Loan Advisor to promote Truist Mortgage products within bank policies and referrals to other bank services. You will meet production goals and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include executing marketing plans, maintaining policy knowledge, and guiding clients through loan options, while coordinating with fulfillment teams to ensure smooth processing and post-closing activities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking and/or lending with residential property knowledge.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent financial sales experience (preferred).
• Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and secondary market guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and procedures and regulatory rules.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and product benefits.
• Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen opportunities.
• Assist with document follow-up for loan fulfillment and post-closing review.
