Job summary

Sazerac Company is expanding its U.S. Market Development team with Chains Market Development Representatives (MDRs). This role is ideal for sales professionals who excel in high-volume merchandising, program execution, and upselling within major chain accounts.

The Chains MDR will build brand presence through merchandising programs, displays, and strong retailer relationships. A results-driven individual is needed to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with major national retailers preferred.
• Willingness to drive between accounts daily.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and display programs in high-volume, national off-premise accounts.
• Ensure planogram compliance and shelf standards; address inventory issues.
• Develop relationships with retailer contacts to maintain visibility and space.
• Collaborate with distributors to implement national programs and promotions.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure promotions are executed correctly.
• Identify upsell opportunities to increase product penetration per location.
• Provide feedback on competitive activity and product performance to teams.
• Meet or exceed volume and distribution goals for assigned brands.
