Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to support store leadership and perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. You will work with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills and may assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Core duties include guest service, product knowledge, and maintaining store standards. The role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college preferred; or 1-3 months related retail experience.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills in a retail environment.
• Willingness to participate in a Management Trainee program and developStore leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide legendary service while selling merchandise.
• Help develop sales and merchandising strategies under Store Manager guidance.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and training Teammates as needed.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing procedures and loss prevention.
• Coordinate with District Manager and Area Manager to build client relationships.
• Act as Store Manager in absence and help travel to assist other stores when required.
