Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee in Baton Rouge to support sales, merchandising, and daily operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills, and you may act as Store Manager in their absence.

You will train across essential areas such as guest service, visual merchandising, operations, and people leadership to prepare for a Store Manager role in the Buckle network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–3 months related retail experience; well-rounded retail fundamentals preferred.
• Strong customer service and selling skills are essential.
• Willingness to lead, train, and recruit teammates as part of a trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and store presentation.
• Support Store Manager with coaching and interviewing Teammates.
• Lead by example and serve as Store Manager in the Manager's absence.
• Ensure store policies, loss prevention, and sales procedures are followed.
