Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee in Mesquite, TX to grow into Store Manager responsibilities. The position supports sales, merchandising and operations while developing leadership, recruiting and training skills.

Responsibilities include guest service, staff coaching, recruiting, visual displays, opening/closing procedures and ensuring loss prevention. Travel to other stores may be required in the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or 0–3 months related retail experience or training; or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills applicable to a team environment.
• Ability to travel to other stores within the district as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Advise on merchandise and assist Guests in locating items.
• Lead, coach and train Teammates; participate in interviewing with Store Manager.
• Maintain store standards and ensure visual displays meet Buckle guidelines.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures and cash handling are accurate and timely.
• Support sales goals and provide a positive, organized shopping experience.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding and supervision as needed; act in Manager's absence.
