Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in our stores while upholding a safe and energetic environment.

You will engage customers and associates with strong greetings and visible confidence as you apply loss-prevention programs. The role partners with store and field leadership to train shortage control associates, report incidents, and develop action plans to reduce shrink.

Responsibilities

• Provide deterrent to dishonest behaviors through command presence and energetic greeting.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with strong attention to detail.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to prevent shortage.
• Display knowledge of shortage areas and support programs to reduce theft.
• Gather indicators of external theft and coordinate with leadership and law enforcement.
• Support audits, onboarding, and shortage reduction training for associates.
• Assist in semi-annual inventory preparation and action planning to reduce shortage.
• Model safety as a top priority.
• Manage stressful situations with discipline and address unsafe practices.
