Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with energy, and report theft incidents to management. The role requires knowledge of shortage reduction programs, the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and monitor environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly greeting and maintain a sense of control and security at store entrances/exits.
• Identify and report theft and suspicious activity to Manager on Duty.
• Monitor front of store and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft and loss.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and security procedures.
