Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead at our Jamaica, NY location to mitigate theft and fraud while maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment.

You will partner with store and field leadership to train associates and drive shortage-reduction initiatives. A strong demeanor, customer focus, and discipline in risk areas are essential as you manage inventory checks and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze store activities and identify shrink risks

Responsibilities

• Provide deterrence to dishonest behaviors with confident presence and professional attire
• Maintain a safe, secure store environment with strong attention to detail and teamwork
• Engage with customers and associates to deliver best-in-class service
• Demonstrate knowledge of shortage reduction programs and store security processes
• Document indicators of external theft and coordinate with store/field leaders and local law enforcement as needed
• Support store leadership with audits, POS monitoring, and internal control practices
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for shortage reduction initiatives
• Assist in inventory preparation and actions to reduce shrink during cycles
• Model safety-first behavior and manage stressful situations effectively
