Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk store areas and promote a safe, secure environment. You will engage with customers and associates with a strong, energetic demeanor and support store leadership in shortage education.

You will train associates, identify indicators of external theft, conduct store audits, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or shrinkage control.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate theft and fraud in high-shortage areas of the store.
• Identify and report theft incidents to store and field leadership.
• Assist in training and development of shortage control associates.
• Conduct store audits and monitoring of point-of-sale transactions.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as directed and support investigations.
