Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to develop leadership and operational skills while supporting store management in delivering exceptional guest service.

You will participate in a structured program covering sales, merchandising, and supervisory responsibilities, preparing you for advancement to Store Manager. Throughout the program you will assist with recruiting, coaching Teammates, and ensuring Buckle standards are met on the sales floor, in displays, and in daily store

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in relevant field of study preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with coaching and counseling Teammates in accordance with Buckle policies and assist in recruiting and interviewing.
• Develop skills to lead Teammates and manage daily tasks, including onboarding and scheduling.
• Oversee sales floor presentation, customer engagement, and product knowledge to drive guest satisfaction and sales.
• Support operations with opening/closing procedures and loss prevention controls.
• Act as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager and coordinate with District/Area management.
