Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee to support sales, merchandising, and store operations. You will work with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills, and train teammates to achieve Buckle’s standards while ensuring excellent Guest service.

You may be involved in openings and closings, merchandising, and occasional travel to other stores within the district, with a clear path toward Store Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; retail leadership potential emphasized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Ability to train and motivate teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide legendary service.
• Lead, train, and motivate teammates; assist Store Manager.
• Support interviews, onboarding, and store setup tasks.
• Manage product categories and merchandising per Buckle guidelines.
• Ensure store standards, loss prevention and balance cash procedures.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence; travel to other stores as needed.
