Job summary

ALDI USA seeks a Store Manager Trainee to run daily store operations, lead and develop the team, manage merchandising, customer service and standards in a fast-paced environment. You will learn to own store performance through hands-on leadership and participate in planning with district leadership.

Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with potential year-one earnings of $85,500–$105,000 including salary and bonus where applicable, with location variability.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops store personnel to achieve expected results.
• Plans and executes action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district leadership as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and makes recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including advancement and termination recommendations.
• Communicates and collaborates with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
• Drives sales and achieves high performance through team leadership.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and store regulations.
