Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead operations and develop a strong store team. You will oversee daily activities, including merchandising, customer service, scheduling, and enforcing store standards while learning the ALDI operating system and leadership practices.

Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with an earning potential of $86,500–$106,000 in Year 1, inclusive of salary and bonus when applicable, reflecting performance and location variations.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior management experience in retail preferred.
• Willingness to travel within divisional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports and leads store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and makes recommendations.
• Manages personnel including advancement and termination decisions as appropriate.
• Ensures compliance with store policies and safety regulations.
