Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help lead store operations, drive sales, and coach Teammates under the Store Manager.

This role involves merchandising, guest service, training, and leadership duties across the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for Guests. You will work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, motivate, and develop Teammates, and may act as Store Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience.
• Retail leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation of sales and delivering legendary customer service across the store areas (front, floor, fitting rooms, register).
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; assist Store Manager in supervision and leadership.
• Manage merchandising, visuals, and store presentation to meet Buckle standards.
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, loss prevention, schedules, and policy adherence.
• Support leadership in executing Buckle's education focus and guiding non-sales roles.
