Job summary

Target is offering a paid Stores Executive Intern internship in our stores. This 40 hr/week hands-on program is designed to develop and prepare you for the Store Leadership path, exposing you to multiple areas of the store’s business while you lead teams and learn to deliver guest service excellence.

You will work closely with a mentor and other leaders, gaining real responsibilities in prioritizing daily goals, driving guest experiences, and contributing to store performance as you progress

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the store salesfloor leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Work with ETL mentor and other leaders to understand roles.
• Lead daily priorities (stocking shelves, safe environment, displays).
• Partner with leaders regarding team member performance and feedback.
• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen.
