J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team in California. You will help drive profitability through strong customer connections and brand loyalty while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You’ll support operations, processes, and the store’s community presence to build lasting relationships. You’ll mentor staff, participate in recruiting and training when needed, and work with the leadership group to exceed goals while maintaining excellent customer

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience or equivalent scope.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Partner with leadership to create a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost associate performance and customer connection.
• Develop engaging community initiatives and loyalty-building events.
