Job summary

J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and leadership to adapt strategies, oversee store operations, and ensure smooth support as needed, including scheduling flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to drive profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Partner with leadership to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge fit sessions to enhance customer connections.
• Create innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
