Job summary

The Paper Store is seeking a Part Time Keyholder for our Paramus, NJ location. You will deliver world-class service using the GUEST approach, greet customers, understand needs, explain product benefits, and help customers find great gift options while upholding merchandising standards.

You will support opening and closing procedures, supervise the sales floor, coach teammates, and process returns and exchanges. The role requires energy, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and leadership work in specialty retail is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and POS Systems.
• Ability to multi task while being attentive to customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by modeling the GUEST service approach and delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions and explain product features and benefits.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales using effective selling techniques.
• Thank the customer and invite them to return and shop with us again.
• Provide coaching to team to improve sales and service and maintain standards.
• Open/close the store, manage POS, supervise the sales floor, and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with all related tasks and maintain store cleanliness and policies.
