Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking an IT Field Technician to deliver onsite support for store technology, POS systems, and networking. The role requires travel within the assigned area and strong customer service skills to maintain operations.

You will perform hardware replacements, preventative maintenance, and PCI inspections while keeping detailed records and inventory. A+ certification and 1–3 years of IT support are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT support or field service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Basic understanding of POS systems and PBX/VOIP.
• Ability to use network diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite service and customer support during field visits.
• Install, repair, and maintain store technology systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot POS systems, networking, telephony, and printers.
• Diagnose issues and document resolutions in service reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty exchanges and RMAs.
