Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide onsite support for store locations, focusing on POS systems, hardware, and store tech infrastructure.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, customer service, and the ability to travel within the assigned area. You will handle hardware replacements, warranty coordination, PCI compliance inspections, and inventory management while ensuring PCI security standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT support or field service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
• Basic understanding of POS systems, PBX/VOIP, and virtual server environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Install, repair, and maintain store technology systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot POS systems, networking issues, and telephony systems.
• Perform hardware replacements and warranty coordination.
• Document all work performed and maintain logs for mileage and expenses.
