Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is searching for a Retail General Manager to lead a high-volume retail service center, overseeing Operations Managers and Assistant Managers to deliver exceptional customer service and efficient operations.

You will drive sales, manage safety, merchandising, budgeting, and staff development for 10+ employees, ensuring strong P&L awareness and effective use of company resources. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, restaurant, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 2+ years’ experience managing operations with annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 2+ years’ experience supervising and training 10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check (DOT screening may apply).

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained location with exceptional customer service and merchandising.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and waste control.
• Oversee task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash handling, and HR support.
• Train and develop team members to meet customer service expectations.
• Interpret financial reports including P&L to drive business decisions and opportunities.
• Address customer feedback to improve overall experience.
