Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. in the United States is seeking a Retail General Manager to lead our high-volume retail operations.

You will manage staff, including Operations Managers and Assistant Managers, drive sales, ensure safety and service excellence, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and experience with budgets and P&L.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, restaurant, travel stop or c-store management.
• 2+ years’ experience managing operations with annual sales volume of $2+ million
• 2+ years’ experience deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements
• 2+ years’ experience supervising and training 10+ employees
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained location with strong customer service and merchandising.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and waste management.
• Oversee task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash handling, and HR support.
• Train and develop staff to maximize customer service expectations.
• Understand financial reporting, including Profit & Loss statements to drive changes.
• Address customer feedback to improve the overall experience.
