Job summary

TJ Maxx in Lake Zurich is seeking a capable front-of-store leader to promote an outstanding customer experience. You will oversee a team of Associates, ensuring a positive, organized store and active participation in loyalty programs.

You will train and mentor staff, coordinate POS coverage and breaks, address customer concerns, and collaborate with management to meet labor and safety standards while maintaining store performance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and lead front-of-store operations.
• Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and loyalty programs.
• Manage registers, POS coverage, and breaks for all Associates.
• Address customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Ensure tasks align with store plans and prioritize as needed.
• Communicate priorities effectively with management and staff, providing updates.
• Support training needs with Management to improve effectiveness.
• Uphold labor laws, policies, and safety standards.
