Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations, assist customers, and support front-end duties as needed. You will help with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High level of integrity required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste removal.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
