Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You’ll be cross-trained to support the cash register and switch to front‑end duties as needed, while keeping the store clean, welcoming, and organized.

This role requires a customer‑focused attitude, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll interact with customers and leaders, handle basic cash accounting, and maintain integrity in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions while working the cash register.
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets.
