Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, and help with front-end duties as needed. You’ll help with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean, inviting shopping environment while ensuring safe, friendly interactions with customers and team members.

The role includes handling cash, processing transactions, and carrying out various duties to keep the store well-organized and secure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and general neatness.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register and protecting cash/assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
