Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations, assist customers, and support front-end duties as needed. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and merchandize effectively.

The role emphasizes friendly, safe customer interactions, strong mathematic and organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. A part-time schedule and local store duties apply across the shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and rest areas
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned
