Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH is hiring to promote an excellent customer experience. You’ll oversee a team of front-of-store Associates and ensure courteous service and promotion of loyalty programs.

You will lead by example, train and mentor staff, coordinate POS coverage, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. This role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.00–$17.50 and opportunities for development within our global off-price retail family.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Team player, able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and oversee front-of-store Associates.
• Lead by example and ensure courteous service and loyalty program promotion.
• Assign registers, coordinate breaks, and manage POS coverage.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and address customer concerns promptly.
• Provide recognition and constructive feedback to colleagues.
