Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delegate, and monitor daily tasks.
• Manage performance and ensure adequate department coverage.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities and store safety.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive sales and service objectives.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel occasionally for meetings or trainings.
