Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver the best possible customer experience in-store.

You will coach, train, and delegate tasks, manage performance, and ensure adequate department coverage while handling both customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities. This role may require MOD duties and occasional store travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Experience leading or supervising teams in a retail setting.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and monitor daily performance.
• Ensure department coverage and safety practices.
• Engage with customers to clarify needs and identify solutions, driving sales.
• Oversee store safety walks, hazard reporting, and lifting procedures.
• May open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel not required regularly; may travel to meetings or trainings as needed.
