Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver outstanding customer service, and manage daily store operations. You will coach staff, handle customer interactions, and ensure safety and efficient merchandising.

The role requires strong retail experience and leadership capabilities. Starting from a base, you will align with store goals, train associates across departments, and participate in closing or opening duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years of retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver a top customer experience.
• Coach and train staff, delegate tasks, and monitor daily activities.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and manage performance.
• Perform both customer-facing and back-of-house duties; drive safety.
• Communicate best practices to the team and escalate as needed.
