Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in providing outstanding customer service in a busy store environment. You will coach associates, manage daily tasks, and support merchandising and safety initiatives to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across departments. This is an on-site, full-time position with standard store hours and occasional travel for meetings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor) preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising teams, providing training and mentoring.
• Experience working cross-functionally and using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and tools to support those helping customers deliver great service.
• Assist with down stocking, area recovery, and merchandising decisions.
• Monitor use of store equipment and coach safe lifting and behaviors.
• Lead and train associates, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate department coverage.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities and maintain store safety.
• Communicate practices to the team to drive customer-focused behavior and goals.
