Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver top-notch customer service, and manage store operations. The role focuses on coaching, training, and ensuring product availability while maintaining safety and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities include customer-facing activities like greeting and problem solving, as well as back-end duties such as down stocking, inventory, and area recovery. Occasional MOD duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, follow-up on daily tasks, manage performance.
• Handle both customer-facing activities and back-end duties like down stocking, inventory, and safety.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive customer-focused behavior and goal attainment.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings or trainings as needed to support neighboring stores.
