The role focuses on coaching associates, managing tasks, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked department while delivering a high-quality shopping experience. The position requires strong retail experience, ability to supervise cross-functional teams, and flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and retail experience required or 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams, training and mentoring associates.
• Experience with cross-functional work and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train employees, delegate tasks, and monitor daily goals.
• Handle customer-facing activities—greeting, needs assessment, and solutions.
• Oversee non-customer tasks like stocking, inventory, and safety walks.
• Communicate best practices to the team and ensure department coverage.
• Occasionally open/close the store or act as manager-on-duty (MOD).
