Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager for our Cumberland location in Atlanta. You will support the store manager in all aspects of store operations and guest service.

You will lead a team during shifts, assist in hiring, drive sales, oversee displays, inventory, and ensure safety and adherence to policies. This role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of store management experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric environment.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time/attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in daily assignments and directing work.
• Help hire and promote staff; provide feedback on selections.
• Lead shifts, uphold policies, and manage security, cash, and safety.
• Drive sales by coaching staff and creating a guest-focused experience.
• Oversee merchandising displays and store atmosphere.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving and counts.
