Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Assistant Manager at North Point Mall to support the store manager in daily operations, guest service, staff management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

You will lead shifts, coach team members, manage scheduling and inventory, ensure brand standards, and foster an Experience First culture while sustaining a positive Guest experience and store performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer‑centric setting.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time/attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine associates’ daily assignments and supervise tasks.
• Hire, promote, and provide feedback on staff.
• Lead and coach team to meet sales targets and uphold policies.
• Drive sales as Floor Leader and ensure a strong Guest experience.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards.
• Oversee inventory management and stock counts.
• Develop a high-performing team delivering guest experience.
