JCPenney in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates, ensuring merchandise standards, and executing visual plans. You will train and develop staff, manage omnichannel processes, and oversee specialty areas like Fine Jewelry, Mattress, and Window displays.

Responsibilities

• Directs Customer Service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues and concerns. Models and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service. Actively listens to customer issues to resolve problems. Maximizes sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately.
• Manages merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual process execution. Maintains high merchandise presentation standards, leads floor moves, graphics, pricing, and signing. Oversees recovery standards for the sales floor and fitting room processes.
• Trains, mentors and coaches all associates in omnichannel processes (Pickup location, delivery, returns). Manages Ship from Store, Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Curbside Pickup within prescribed time periods. Monitors Omnichannel metrics and resolves issues.
• Drives profitable sales growth in Fine Jewelry, Mattress, and Window businesses; leads and trains Specialty associates. Oversees SET processes, merchandise remerchandising, and shrink reduction in specialty areas.
• Teaches, trains and coaches associates; partners to source and hire hourly staff. Develops associates, addresses performance issues, and promotes a One Team culture.
• Ensures performance standards including shrink, safety, Omnichannel, scheduling, attendance, and customer service are met.
