Job summary

Theisen's Home Farm Auto in Grinnell, IA is seeking a Floor Supervisor to assist the store manager in running a store that prioritizes customer service, associate morale, training, and maximizing sales. This role supports daily operations and ensures a productive, well-presented store environment.

The Floor Supervisor will help with scheduling, performance feedback, opening/closing duties, and customer assistance while upholding company standards and a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related retail experience.
• Satisfactory completion of National Retail Hardware Association test within three months of starting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with scheduling and time clock functions.
• Monitor associate productivity and ensure procedures and dress code are followed.
• Provide input for associate performance evaluations.
• Identify projects and coordinate completion.
• Open and close store operations and prep cash drawers.
• Liaise between manager and hourly associates.
• Assist customers with questions and loadouts.
• Run cash register as needed.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
