Job summary

Theisen's Home Farm Auto in Dubuque is seeking a Floor Supervisor to assist the store manager in running a customer-focused operation, maintaining associate morale, and driving sales and profits. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on supervision of daily store activities.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staff coordination, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with store procedures while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related retail experience.
• Satisfactory completion of National Retail Hardware Association test within three months of starting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with proper associate coverage across departments and assist with scheduling and time clock functions.
• Monitor associate productivity and ensure procedures, dress code, name tags and paperwork are followed.
• Provide input for manager regarding associate performance evaluations.
• Identify projects and coordinate completion.
• Perform opening and closing functions and prep cash drawers.
• Liaise between manager and hourly associates and carry out directives.
